My name is Ilya Danilyuk and I am the coordinator for the Russian-speaking
churches in Europe. We are all saddened by the war that is happening right now
between Russia and Ukraine and want to respond through the lens of the gospel.
All the Russian speaking pastors in Europe have agreed to respond in serving the
Ukrainian Refugees that are seeking safety and shelter. The situation is very difficult
due to the fact that approximately 1 million refugees from Ukraine have already
crossed into Europe, first they entered into Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic,
Romania, and now a large amount of refugees have poured into Italy.
How are we helping refugees?
- Transporting Refugees and helping them settle in new homes all over Italy.
- Buying food, clothing, medicine, and basic daily necessities.
- Sharing the gospel of Christ with them.
- Sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine, such as: clothing, food, medicine, bed
linens and much more that is donated from local Italians.
